US Soccer Region IV Girls Olympic Development Program (ODP) head coach.  He was oversaw the Olympic trials for Hawaii, Washington, Alaska, Oregon, Wyoming, Arizona, New Mexico, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, California North and California South.  Platini has been a coach for 21 years at all levels of US Womens Soccer.  He also has international experience in coaching mens/womens, administration and training in Mexico, Brazil, France, Canada, England, Morocco, Costa Rica, Portugal, Spain and Germany.  His experience also extends to Boys and Girls Olympic Development Program coaching and training in the United States.  Former California South Coerver coaching director and now an ambassador of the Isoccer assessment, Platini has been a staff coach for US Soccer's Girls National Identification Camps and an assistant with the Women's National team event in Canada and Minnesota 2001.  He has also been involved with UCLA's soccer program and was an assistant coach of Mexico Women's National team 1999 World Cup.

He has had the honor of selecting, coaching, and managing a team from the best players in the California South leagues to represent the Olympic Development teams (ODP) to 2 National Championships (assistan coach with G84 and head coach for G85) and 4 Regional Championships (G84 & G85) and has been responsible for directing soccer courses for Cal South District 2 to teach and examine prospective coaches (F, E, D and YM 6.8 and 10).

Platini is currently a professional coach of several teams for the West Coast Futbol Club and continues to direct the Best College Soccer Camps each summer.  In addition, he was also the head coach for the WPSL West Coast FC team.  In the US, his reputation is well known as one of the best coaches, scout/private trainers to help players to achieve their dream to play for National teams, professional leagues and D1 schools.  Platini has a USSF National 'A' Coaching License and National Youth License.
