Dana's love for the game of soccer was passed on to him by his father, Andrew Keir. Andrew Keir was a member of the 1952 United States Olympic Soccer team and was one of the founding coaches of AYSO in 1964.  Growing up in the competitve soccer enviroment of Southern California, Dana is keenly aware of the challenges youth players face and is very familiar with the demands of high level futbol.  His passion for the sport, his commitment to improve the quality of american soccer and his desire to help youngsters achieve their goals and dreams is what keeps Dana involved in teaching the game.

Dana lives in Mission Viejo with his wife, Gail, and his two sons, Tate and Chase. When not on the soccer field, he is Senior Vice President for an insurance brokerage in Orange, CA.
